BRUSH DEPOSITORY
The Highway Crew also began accepting and chipping brush deposited by Exeter and St. Lawrence residents and then providing the mulch for pick up. This deposit area is located near the Trout Run Sports Complex off of W. Neversink Road (the former Battle property) and is for the convenience of Exeter and St. Lawrence residents only. The brush must be generated on a Township or Borough property and delivered by the property owner or a designee and not a contractor. This depository is not intended and may not be used by landscape contractors of any type and violators will be prosecuted.
The Depository also accepts Christmas Trees for recycling which are used in making mulch as well.
The Trout Run Brush Depository is monitored by cameras at all times. Hours that the facility are open are subject to change. Call the Township for the current hours.
Please keep in mind the bi-product (mulch) of chipping the brush is available for Township and Borough resident's use and will be located outside of the gated area. The mulch can be picked up any time.
